Mas National has partnered with TAFE Queensland RTO 0275 to deliver a fully funded Women Only General Construction Induction Training (GCIT) – CPCWHS1001 prepare to work safely in the construction industry, to support women in trades. But that’s not all! Along with getting your GCIT Card (after successful completion), you will have the opportunity to receive a complimentary careers consult with one of our Career Advisors.
This Nationally Recognised Training Course is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of Work, Health and Safety requirements and procedures used on general building, construction and civil sites. This course is mandatory for all persons working on construction sites in Australia.
It is highly recommended that you:
- Are aged 15 years or older by the commencement date.
- Have sound levels of written and spoken English to be able to complete assignments.
- Have not undertaken a Women in Trade Consultation with Mas National.
To be eligible for a Mas National Careers Consult, you MUST be an Australian Citizen or hold an eligible VISA.
When is it?
This Course will be held on Thursday, 16th May 2024 at TAFE Queensland Hervey Bay Campus, 47-95 Urraween Road Pialba Qld 4655. Arrival time is 7:45am, with the Course to commence at 8:00am. FREE onsite parking is available and lunch will be provided.
