Have you ever noticed that some information is easy for you to learn, while other times it feels nearly impossible to grasp?
One popular theory that explains this difference is based on your preferred learning style. According to the VARK model, there are four distinct learning styles:
1-Visual: Visual learners excel when information is presented to them in a visual format. They prefer images, such as charts, diagrams, symbols, and other visual aids to understand concepts.
2-Auditory: Auditory learners prefer to learn through listening. They thrive in group discussions, conversation-based learning, and benefit from reading aloud.
3-Reading & Writing: Learners who fall into this category succeed with written information. They find worksheets, presentations, and text-heavy resources helpful. Taking notes and reading are their preferred methods of learning.
4-Kinesthetic: Kinesthetic learners thrive when they can engage all their senses and take a physically active role in their learning. They prefer hands-on tasks and learn best through practical experiences.
Understanding your learning style can be beneficial, especially during your Apprenticeship. By identifying your preferred style, you can tailor your learning approach to make the most of your day-to-day experiences.
